What is Soraivy? A simple guide for new viewers

Soraivy is a video platform where you can watch long videos, Shorts and live streams from independent creators. It’s free to watch, and you don’t even need an account to start. This guide explains the basics, so you can find your way around in a few minutes.

What you can watch

• Videos: longer content like tutorials, vlogs, reviews and gaming.
• Shorts: quick vertical videos you can swipe through.
• Live: streams happening right now, plus replays of past streams.

Why the feed feels different

Our recommendation engine, SoraPulse, doesn’t favor big channels. It looks at how people actually respond to each video. That means you will see more new faces and fresh ideas, not just the same famous channels you see everywhere else.

Becoming an admirer

On Soraivy, following a channel is called becoming an admirer. When you admire a channel, you can see their new videos more easily. You can stop admiring a channel any time.

Saving videos for later

Sign in to use Watch later, your History and your Library. They help you pick up where you left off and keep track of videos you liked. You can also make playlists.

Watching on your phone

Soraivy has apps for Android and iPhone. They are made for watching on the go, with the same look as the website. You can also just use soraivy.com in your phone’s browser.

Player tips

• Change video quality from the player settings.
• Turn captions on or off when they are available.
• Change playback speed if you want to watch faster or slower.
• Use keyboard shortcuts on a computer for quick control.

Supporting creators

The easiest way to support a creator is free: watch their videos to the end, like them, comment and share them. Some creators also offer memberships, and you can support them during live streams with features like Super-Flex.

Staying safe

If you see something harmful, report it. You can report videos, channels and comments, and you don’t need to sign in to send a report. Our team reviews reports by hand. You can also block people who bother you.

Want to create too?

Anyone can start a channel. Sign up, set up your profile, and upload your first video. Our blog has step-by-step guides for uploading and going live.

Welcome to Soraivy. We hope you find creators here you would never have found anywhere else.
