The green Security & Developer badge: thanking the people who make Soraivy safer
31 August 2026 · Soraivy Team
Some of the most important work on any platform is invisible. Someone finds a security hole and reports it quietly, before bad actors can use it. Someone spots a bug that could have broken uploads for thousands of people. The green Security & Developer badge is how we say thank you to them in public.
Who the green badge is for
- Security researchers who responsibly report a real security issue.
- Bug bounty hunters with an approved submission.
- Developers who made a meaningful contribution to Soraivy.
What counts as a valid contribution
The issue or work has to be real and meaningful. A clear report of a security flaw that we confirm and fix counts. A spelling mistake on a page, while appreciated, does not. We review every application by hand, so we look at what you actually found or built.
How to apply
- Sign in and open Studio → Badges.
- Choose Security & Developer.
- Describe your contribution.
- Add links or report IDs if you have them. They help us check faster.
Report responsibly
If you find a security problem, please report it to us privately first. Don’t post it publicly, and don’t use it to access other people’s data. Give us time to fix it. This keeps users safe, and it’s how responsible security research works everywhere.
Why this matters to everyone
Creators trust us with their videos, earnings and personal details. Viewers trust us with their accounts. Every security report makes that trust safer. Researchers who help us are protecting real people, and they deserve credit.
What the badge looks like
The green badge appears next to your channel name across Soraivy, just like other badges. People in the security and developer community will recognize what it means.
Badges and ranking
The green badge does not change how your videos are ranked. SoraPulse ignores all badges. The badge is recognition, not a boost.
Not a security person? You can still help
If something on Soraivy looks broken, tell us. You don’t need to be an expert. A short note saying what you did and what went wrong helps our team fix it faster. Use the Contact page or our support email.
To everyone who has already helped make Soraivy safer: thank you.
Questions people often ask
Do I need to be a professional to apply? No. What matters is the contribution, not your job title. Students and hobbyists who find real issues qualify too.
What should a good report include? Say what you found, where you found it, and the steps to see it happen again. Screenshots help. Keep it short and clear.
I found something but I am not sure it is a real problem. Should I report it? Yes. Tell us, and let our team decide. We would much rather check a false alarm than miss a real issue.
Can developers who built tools for Soraivy apply? Yes, if the work was meaningful and helped the platform. Describe what you built and include links.
How we handle reports
When a report arrives, our team checks it, tries to repeat the issue, and fixes what is real. Serious issues come first. We may contact you with questions along the way. Once it is fixed, you can apply for the badge with your report details.
