Why we think Soraivy can win against much bigger platforms
28 September 2026 · Soraivy Team
Let’s start with the uncomfortable part. The biggest video platforms have more users, more money and more engineers than we will have for a long time. If this were a straight race on size, we would lose. So why are we building Soraivy anyway? Because we don’t think size is the race that matters most.
Big platforms have a problem they can’t easily fix
When a platform gets huge, its feed learns to play it safe. It shows people what already worked. That usually means big channels, proven formats and viral clips. It keeps viewers busy, but it leaves most creators stuck. A new channel can post something great and still get almost no views.
Fixing this is hard for a giant. Their whole business is tuned around the current system. Changing it would upset the channels that already win. We don’t have that problem. We could build fairness in from the first day.
Our first edge: fairness is built into the feed
SoraPulse, our recommendation engine, does not use channel size to rank videos. Admirer count, badges and lifetime views are left out. Each video is judged on how real viewers respond to it. We also keep space in the feed for creators who have not been seen much yet. For a small creator, that means a good video can get seen before the channel has an audience.
Our second edge: creators can earn early
On many platforms, you need a big audience before you earn a single rupee. We want creators to see money sooner. Eligibility is shown right in Studio. You get an email the moment you qualify. Creators in our Creator Program sign a clear written agreement, so they know exactly what they will be paid and when.
Our third edge: everything in one place
A small creator today juggles a lot of apps: one to edit, one to stream, one for overlays, one for brand deals, and a spreadsheet to track it all. On Soraivy, uploads, a built-in editor, live streaming, OBS overlays, analytics, a media kit and brand deals all live in one Studio. Less juggling means more time making videos.
Our fourth edge: brands get honest partnerships
Brands can find creators by niche, send collab requests, and pay into escrow, so creators know the money is really there before they start. Ambassador deals are signed as proper agreements. This makes small creators easier and safer to hire, and that opens up income that used to go only to big names.
Our fifth edge: we are small
It sounds strange, but being small helps. We can listen to one creator’s message and ship a fix the same week. Many changes in our latest update came straight from creator feedback. A giant platform cannot move like that.
What could stop us
We would be lying if we said this was certain. Our biggest challenge is reach: viewers go where the videos are, and creators go where the viewers are. Breaking that loop takes time. We also have to keep the platform safe as it grows, and keep our promise on fairness even when it would be easier to bend it.
What winning means to us
Winning does not mean replacing anyone. It means becoming the place where a talented creator with no audience can get a real start, and where viewers find people they would never have found elsewhere. If we get that right, we think growth takes care of itself. If you want to help, post your best work here and tell a friend.
